Meet the latest South African to join Strictly

A 20-year-old South African has been unveiled as one of four new dancers hoping to win the sought-after glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing.

Cameron Lombard said joining the UK's ever-popular dance competition was "a dream come true" in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Cameron is no stranger to competition: he has 18 national championships to his name, and appeared not once but twice on South Africa's Got Talent, in 2009 and 2012.

The Capetonian is also the latest in a string of South Africans to join Strictly, so hopefully Johannes Radebe and two-time winner Oti Mabuse will be on hand to give him a warm welcome when the 19th series gets underway on the BBC later this year.
