Zimbabwe 'reaches one million Covid vaccine milestone'
Zimbabwe's health ministry has announced that the country has administered one million Covid-19 jabs.
So far 666,786 people have received their first dose and 335,679 their second dose, according to data from the health ministry published by state-owned Herald newspaper.
Zimbabwe has mostly used the China-manufactured Sinopharm vaccine. There had been reports that the supply had run out.
But the health ministry says it still has more than 700,000 doses and is expecting 500,000 more, the Herald newspaper reports.
The country has reported more than 38,000 Covid-19 cases and 1,500 deaths.
