South Africa deputy president 'at home and well'
South Africa's Deputy President David Mabuza is at "home and well", his office has said following concerns over his health status.
"Anything contrary to this is a malicious and unfortunate rumour," his spokesperson said in a statement.
Three South African cabinet ministers have so far contracted coronavirus and have been treated in hospital.
The country is the hardest hit on the continent and accounts for half of all reported infections in Africa. It also has the fifth-highest number of cases in the world after the US, Brazil, Russia and India.
It passed the half a million mark over the weekend, according to Health Minister Zweli Mkhize.
