Zimbabwe High Court Nullifies Chamisa Presidency
The Zimbabwean High Court has nullified the appointment of MDC-T national executive members Nelson Chamisa and Elias Mudzuri as co-vice presidents 3 years ago. This came following an application from the MDC-T’s Gokwe district organising secretary Elias Mashavire who challenged the decision by Morgan Tsvangirai to pick his ‘favourite’ boys to take on leadership positions.
Justice Edith Mushore made the ruling in a judgment made available today. This means all the decisions made under Nelson Chamisa administration are null and void. He cannot preside over party matters.
