Women’s Rugby World Cup Coming To Africa
Rugby Africa is organising the first qualifiers for the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Africa.
The event is set to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa during August, timed to coincide with National Women’s Day in South Africa on August 9th.
South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and Madagascar will compete for a place in the 2021 World Cup in New Zealand, with each side playing three matches. While the winner will automatically qualify, the team that places second will still have a chance at qualification. It will be the first time the continent is represented at the Women’s Rugby Fifteens World Cup.
The fixtures are scheduled for Bosman stadium, Brakpan, Johannesburg, South Africa as follows:
